ABX picker maya 2011 no bg image

I am using Maya 2011 I'm able to load the ABX picker and use it properly..The problem is that I cannot see the bg image i.e. Malcolmpicker.bitmap image as a background in the picker..any has any idea how do I solve it..

Be sure to have the MalcolmPicker.bmp in the images directory of your project your using malcolm in.

I'm having the same problem and I discovered why. If you open the script editor and run "abxPicker" it says it can't find the image. It's because the picker is searching for it in "image" instead of "images." So the temporary fix is to rename your "images" folder to "image." Is there an easy way to tell the picker to search for the correct folder?

Hi! That was a bug we fixed in the download a few days ago, sorry!

To fix it, find the PIKR node in the outliner. Select it and open the Attribute Editor. Go to Extra Attributes. Change the path there to "images"

On my Mac appears only the background image. If I remove the image in the folder where images appear equal to the friend above. You can fix?

Hi,

This is in regards to the bug fix post in this thread. In the Extra Attributes, I've set the path correctly as : images\MalcolmPicker.bmp
and yet, it doesn't show me the background image.
It did show the image once, but when I closed the file and opened it again after some time, it stopped displaying the background image for some reason.

And since it showed properly once, means that there isn't really a problem with the PIKR. Something Im missing out ?

Are you on a Mac? The BG doesn't display properly on Mac. We are working on a fix for this.

I had the same issue in 2011. Changing the path in the attributes section to the full path fixed it.
for example - I changed the path for BG Image from

"images/MalcolmPicker.bmp"
to
"K:/xyz/abc/myproject/images/MalcolmPicker.bmp"

And it worked for me.
