Switch namespace with command line

Hi,

Is it possible to use a Python or MEL command line (or script) to switch the namespace in the picker ?
Maybe there is a command like 'AnimSchoolPicker();' but with a namespace parameter to specify the one we want instead of changing it by clicking on the window ?
And more generally, is there a documentation for users to know which are the available commands for the picker ?
I have seen questions like this one asked years ago on the forum and I wonder if there is any news about it.

A new version of Picker does have an extensive API but it will not be for free. Stand by for updates.
