Picker not creating button.

Hi, I installed the picker and that went smoothly enough, but I can't create buttons.
I'm using maya 2013 on a mac with OS 10.8.5
I deleted all the files and re-installed the picker but I'm still having the same issue.

Did you watch the video on this page?

Make sure you have a picker tab open. Select something on the rig then right click on the interface to make a button.

It's much better if it's a REFERENCED character rig.
